| Description | MOIL Limited (formerly known as Manganese Ore India Limited) is a Schedule ‘A’ Miniratna Category-I Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India. It is the largest producer of manganese ore in the country, operating ten mines across Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. MOIL has also set up Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide and Ferro Manganese plants and has been a consistent profit-making PSU for decades. The company plans to expand its production capacity to three million tonnes by 2030 through increased output from existing operations and new mine openings. MOIL invites applications from young, vibrant and dynamic candidates for direct recruitment through online mode for the posts of Electrician, Mechanic-Cum-Operator (Fitter), Mechanic-Cum-Operator (Welder), Mine Foreman, Select Grade Mine Foreman, Mine Mate and Blaster. The recruitment aims to fill technical and supervisory vacancies across different mines and units of the organization. The online application portal will be open from 17 October 2025 (00:01 hrs) to 06 November 2025 (23:59 hrs). Candidates are advised to read the notification carefully and apply well before the closing date to avoid last-minute technical issues. Posts and Eligibility Conditions: The recruitment covers the following categories of posts — Electrician Gr-III, Mechanic-Cum-Operator (Fitter / Welder) Gr-III, Mine Foreman-I, Select Grade Mine Foreman, Mine Mate Gr-I and Blaster Gr-II — in various pay scales ranging from ₹23,400 to ₹50,040 plus allowances as per company rules. For the posts of Electrician and Mechanic-Cum-Operator, the minimum qualification is SSC pass along with a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the respective trade and one year of post-qualification experience in the same field. Candidates possessing a National Apprenticeship Certificate in the designated trade will also be considered as experienced. Electrician candidates must hold a valid license under Regulation 31 of the Central Electricity Authority Regulations, 2023. For Mine Foreman and Select Grade Mine Foreman posts, candidates must possess a Diploma or Degree in Mining and Mine Surveying and hold a valid Mine Foreman’s, Second Class Manager’s, or First Class Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted) issued under the relevant Mining Regulations. Experience requirements vary from one to six years depending on qualification level. For Mine Mate Gr-I, the candidate must have passed SSC and possess a valid Mine Mate Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted) along with at least three years of experience as Mine Mate in a reputed mining company. For experienced Mine Mates, the upper age limit may be relaxed up to 53 years in proportion to experience. For Blaster Gr-II, the candidate should be SSC pass and hold a valid Blaster’s Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted) with a minimum of one year experience as Blaster in a recognized mining organization. Age and Relaxation: The upper age limit for different posts ranges between 30 and 45 years as on 06 November 2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India guidelines — three years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), five years for SC / ST, and ex-servicemen as per rules. There is no age bar for departmental candidates of MOIL. The maximum age after all relaxations shall not exceed 53 years. Selection Process: Selection will be through a Computer-Based Online Test of 90 minutes duration carrying 100 objective type questions on General Knowledge (10 marks), Reasoning (10 marks), and Subject Knowledge (80 marks). The test will be bilingual in Hindi and English. The qualifying marks are 50% for General / EWS candidates and 40% for SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. There is no negative marking. The online examination will be conducted in major cities including Bengaluru, Delhi / NCR, Kolkata, Mumbai / MMR Region, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Raipur and Nagpur. Candidates may choose two test cities at the time of application. MOIL reserves the right to change or allot a different exam center as per administrative convenience. Application Fee: Candidates belonging to General (UR), EWS and OBC categories are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹295 (including GST) through online mode only. SC / ST candidates and MOIL employees are exempted from the fee. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. How to Apply: Candidates can apply only through the official website of MOIL Limited at www.moil.nic.in by navigating to the “Recruitment” section and clicking on “Apply Online.” Applications must be submitted between 17 October 2025 and 06 November 2025. No other mode of application will be accepted. Applicants must upload a recent passport-size photograph, signature, left-thumb impression, and a hand-written declaration in English as per the prescribed format. The hand-written declaration should read: “I, ____ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.” Candidates must ensure that their email ID and mobile number remain active until the completion of the recruitment process, as all communication including call letters and exam notices will be sent only through email and the MOIL website. Posting and Medical Examination: Selected candidates may be posted at any of the company’s mines in Maharashtra or Madhya Pradesh or at any other location as decided by management. Before appointment, they must undergo a Pre-Employment Medical Examination conducted by MOIL’s Medical Officer, and the decision of the Medical Officer will be final and binding. General Information: Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply. All qualifications must be recognized by AICTE / UGC / statutory authorities. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the online test. Candidates employed in Government or Public Sector organizations should submit a No Objection Certificate at the time of document verification.
